The challenge
Where the team started.
Multiple engineering teams inside TOFAŞ were delivering software on divergent toolchains and infrastructure patterns. Build, release and deployment steps were largely manual, release discipline varied by team, and container workloads lived in silos — making consistent security, observability and recovery posture difficult to hold across the estate.
The solution
What we built together.
ANKASOFT designed and implemented a centralised, standardised DevOps platform powered by VMware Tanzu and Tanzu Application Platform (TAP). Container workloads from different teams were consolidated onto a single platform with shared operational guardrails. Pipelines, supply-chain security and deployment paths were standardised so every team followed the same path to production — while keeping freedom over language, framework and service boundaries.
What we did
The engagement, step by step.
01
Platform design on Tanzu + TAP
Reference architecture for a multi-tenant, shared platform — cluster topology, namespace model, network and security baselines, and developer on-ramps via TAP's supply chain and developer portal.
02
Pipeline standardisation
Opinionated, reusable pipelines for build, test, scan and deploy — replacing bespoke per-team pipelines with a governed template teams could extend rather than reinvent.
03
Workload consolidation
Container workloads from multiple teams migrated onto the new platform in waves, preserving service ownership while unifying the runtime, observability and release model.
04
Runbooks and handover
Every operational procedure captured as code and documentation, with joint pairing weeks so the TOFAŞ platform team owned the system end-to-end from day one of production.
Outcomes
What changed, in the team's own operational terms.
1 platform
Unified runtime for workloads from multiple engineering teams
Standardised
Build, release and deployment paths across teams
Shared guardrails
Security, observability and recovery posture across the estate
